CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility

Explomet is a company committed to corporate social responsibility, according to which, in its activities, it takes into account social interests, environmental aspects and relations with various groups of stakeholders, including employees. The company invests in human resources, environmental protection, relations with the company’s environment and informing about these activities. It supports a number of cultural and social events and educational activities. This contributes to an increase in the recognition of the firm and shaping the conditions for sustainable social and economic development.

Recently, the company has financially supported the following institutions and events:

• Opole Hospice Association – Palliative Care Center “Betania”
• The World Press Photo 2020 exhibition at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Opole
• An exhibition of Wojciech Brzeszczak’s works presented at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Opole
• International Opole Jazz All Souls’ Festival 2022
• Sponsored the organization of the theatrical performance “Mleczarnia”, at the Ekostudio Theater in Opole
• As part of the implementation of the so-called complementary diplomas, achieving the title of M.Sc. by Mr. Dawid Włodarczyk – defence of his master’s thesis titled: “Development and implementation of technology for welding deposited materials used in the explosive cladding process to larger formats, using a specialized welding station.” The work concerned welding zirconium.
• Commencement of implementation of the Phd doctorate: “Induction heating of explosively joined layered materials”, at Explomet by its employee, M.Sc. Eng. Michał Żużalek.
• Release and promotion of the newest album (CD) of Krzysztof “Puma” Piasecki, a well-known guitarist from Opole.
• Disabled People’s Song Festival “mocART”.
• Celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology.
• Celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of Polish Academy of Sciences.
• Bolko Island Festival in Opole
• In May 2023, Explomet became a sponsor of the Gwardia Opole team (handball)
• International Opole Jazz All Souls’ Festival 2023
