1. EXPLOSIVE CLADDING

We manufacture materials for technical use in the construction of chemical and energetics process devices, as well as in electric power engineering, electrochemistry, electrotechnics, electrometallurgy and other industries. The technology of explosive cladding allows joining of a very wide range of metals and their alloys. Materials that differ significantly in melting points, density and mechanical properties can be subjected to explosive cladding.

Manufactured joints have very good strength parameters, usually higher than the strength of the weaker of the joined metals. The properties of the joined metals, their strength characteristics, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity are maintained. The technology of explosive cladding allows the production of clad materials in various, unlimited quantities, from small to large series of products, with different sizes of unit elements. The production cycle of cladded materials is strictly organized and subjected to standardized manufacturing and control procedures in accordance with the relevant regulations applicable to all world producers. Compliance with quality control procedures in relation to materials supplied for processing, control of individual phases of the production process and the inspection process of the finished product, guarantees high quality of the made cladded elements.

ADVANTAGE OF EXPLOSIVE CLADDING TECHNOLOGY

The unique properties in relation to other methods of bonding, allowing a very wide range of bonds of metals and their alloys. Great bond strength gives high possibility of further mechanical processing of cladding elements:

For cladding can be use forged and rolled materials. Bonded materials keep its initial properties and after bonding create a new quality product. Technology enables production of unlimited in quantity and size assortment lots of cladding elements.

2. OVERLAY WELDING OF PIPES AND FLANGES

We can do:

  • 2 “connector max. Length 350-400 mm
  • 3 “connector max. Length 700mm
  • Connection 4 “-24” max. Length 3500mm

All weldable or alloyed steels that can be annealed after welding or welding. The materials we can weld are nickel-based alloys, such as Inconel, Monel, Hastalloy, stainless steels (304, 308, 309, 310, 314, 316, 317, etc.).

1. WATER JET / PLASMA CUTTING

We are very welcome companies that want to use the water cutting service using a Waterjet Water Cutter and / or a Plasma Cutter – a combo type machine in dimensions of working table 4000 x 8000 mm. In particular, thin and relatively soft materials such as aluminum, ceramics, etc. can be cut today much faster than a few years ago. However the special design, allows us to cut a various materials in different thicknesses.

2. STRAIGHTENING AND ROLLING OF PLATES

The Explomet company has a modern stand for mechanical and plastic processing of sheet metal, in terms of their straightening and rolling of cans. Three-roller rollers have a width of 3500 mm, and the maximum thickness of elements for processing is 70 mm.

3. MATERIAL EXPERTISES AND MATERIAL TESTING USING AN ELECTRON SCANNING MICROSCOPE, INCLUDING CHEMICAL COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

Our company has extensive research equipment allowing for the work of the Research and Development department and for precise preparation of ready products for our clients. We invite you to familiarize yourself with some of our devices.

Scanning microscope Jeol Neoscope II enabling observation of samples with a maximum magnification of 60 000x. The ability to work in a high vacuum creates conditions for high-quality observations. The microscope is also equipped with an EDS detector, enabling the analysis of the chemical composition of the samples viewed.

RESEARCH

An important aspect of our activity are research and development works, expanding production capacity and improving the quality of the offered products. Recently, they have been focused on, among others issues related to obtaining connections between light metals and their alloys and for hybrid materials. These materials can be widely used in the automotive, aviation and aeronautics industries.

  • Control of the detonation process
  • Non-destructive, Ultrasonic Tests (UT) carried out on our own, acc. to: EN 10160: 2001, ASME SA-263, ASME SA-264, ASME SA-265, ASTM B-432, ASTM B-898, ASME SA-578 / 578M, other regulations or acc. to customer’s specification. Liquid Penetrant Tests (PT) and Visual Tests (VT), acc. to regulations or acc. to customer’s specification.
  • Destructive testing performed at our own laboratory acc. to: EN 13445-2: 2014 Annex D or ASME SA-263, SA-264, SA-265 and ASTM B-432, ASTM B-898, AD-2000 Merkblatt W8. Other regulations or according to customer specifications.
  • Tests: tensile, shear, bend, impact, ram test, macrostructure and others

EQUIPMENT

Our company has research equipment enabling it to perform a wide range of research and development works as part of the Science, Research and Development department and to certify finished products, as well as to provide specialized services in the field of material testing. Our equipment includes such devices as: strength testing machine, impact testing machine, hardness measurement devices, optical and electron microscope, ultrasonic test detectors, roughness tester.
